Connect in one sign-in
An account admin signs in to HubSpot and approves access. No API keys to copy. Each QRBold account, and each sub-account, connects its own HubSpot.
Integration · HubSpot CRM
When someone scans your QR code or opens your digital business card and fills in a form, QRBold creates or updates their HubSpot contact with the fields you choose. No CSV exports, no retyping, no lead going cold in an inbox.

A QR code on a box, a product label or a digital business card starts a conversation. Without a CRM link, that conversation waits for someone to export a spreadsheet.
Everything below works today. One way, from QRBold to HubSpot.
An account admin signs in to HubSpot and approves access. No API keys to copy. Each QRBold account, and each sub-account, connects its own HubSpot.
Every lead is matched to a HubSpot contact by email. A new email creates a contact; a known one updates it. By default only empty fields are filled, so nothing your sales team typed is overwritten.
Choose which form field goes to which HubSpot property, standard or custom. QRBold suggests a mapping, splits a full name into first and last, and checks each field against the property type and your HubSpot validation rules.
The contact gets a note with all the answers, the consent wording the visitor agreed to, which card or page they came from, and a link back to the lead in QRBold.
New contacts get a QRBold lead source, a lifecycle stage and a lead status you choose. An existing customer who fills in a form is never moved back to “lead”.
If HubSpot is down or rate-limited, leads wait and retry automatically for more than a day. Each lead shows whether it reached HubSpot, with a retry button and an email to admins if HubSpot stops accepting leads.
Three steps, about five minutes.
In QRBold, open Settings → Connected apps and choose Connect HubSpot. Sign in to HubSpot and approve access. You can also connect from a form in the builder without losing your unsaved changes.
On any form — a contact form, a booking form or the contact exchange on a digital business card — switch on “Send leads to HubSpot”. Review the suggested field mapping, then send a test with your latest lead.
From then on, each new lead from that form reaches HubSpot within seconds. The leads page shows the HubSpot status of every lead, with a link to open the contact.
The detail an admin or a privacy review asks for, in one place.
| Direction | One way: QRBold → HubSpot. Nothing is read back from HubSpot except, for the “fill empty fields” option, the current values of the mapped fields. |
|---|---|
| What is created | HubSpot contacts, each with a note. No companies, deals or tickets. |
| Matched by | Email address. A lead without an email is not sent, so it can never create a duplicate. |
| Fields | Any writable contact property, standard or custom. File uploads are listed in the note with a link to the lead. |
| Existing contacts | Fill empty fields only (default) or update the mapped fields — your choice per form. |
| Never sent | The visitor's IP address and browser details. |
| If HubSpot is unavailable | Automatic retries spread over more than a day, then a manual retry button on the lead. |
| HubSpot permissions asked for | Read and write contacts; read contact properties and create one property, “QRBold lead source”. |
Put a QR code on packaging that opens a QRBold product page with a registration, warranty or feedback form. Each customer who fills it in becomes a HubSpot contact you can bring into your post-purchase emails and workflows.
QR codes for product packagingWhen someone swaps details with a rep through the contact exchange on their digital business card, the new contact is in HubSpot before the conversation ends, with the rep's card named as the lead source.

Open Settings → Connected apps in QRBold and choose Connect HubSpot. HubSpot asks you to sign in and approve access; once you do, you are back in QRBold and connected. You need to be the account owner or have the “Manage integrations” permission. Then turn on “Send leads to HubSpot” for each form you want to send.
For each new lead from a form with HubSpot switched on: the answers you mapped to HubSpot properties, a lead source, and — on new contacts — the lifecycle stage and lead status you chose. A note lists every answer, consent wording, where the lead came from and a link to the lead in QRBold. The visitor’s IP address and browser details are never sent.
Any writable contact property: text, number, date, dropdown, checkbox and yes/no properties. QRBold only offers properties whose type fits the form field, and never offers read-only or calculated properties. File uploads are not copied into HubSpot; the note links to the lead in QRBold instead.
Yes. Custom contact properties appear in the field picker under “Your custom properties”. If a custom property is later deleted in HubSpot, leads still go through without it and the lead shows which field was skipped.
Read and write access to contacts, and read access to contact properties plus permission to create one property, “QRBold lead source”. Notes are added through the contact permission. QRBold does not ask for access to deals, companies, emails or other HubSpot data.
The Team and Business digital business card plans (from $2 per card per month, billed annually) and the Growth and Pro QR plans. It is included in the plan price. The Free and Launch plans do not include it. Leads over your plan’s monthly lead allowance are held, not sent, and go to HubSpot once you upgrade.
Open the lead in QRBold: it shows the reason in plain words and a Retry button. Common causes are a lead without an email, a value your HubSpot validation rules refuse, a field your HubSpot requires on new contacts that the form does not map, or a disconnected account. The builder’s HubSpot tab shows the latest failure for that form, so you can fix the mapping where you set it up.
No. QRBold’s HubSpot app is not yet listed in the HubSpot App Marketplace, so HubSpot shows a notice on the approval screen. Approving it connects your account as normal.
New leads stop going to HubSpot and QRBold deletes its access tokens and asks HubSpot to revoke them. Contacts already in HubSpot stay there. Your forms keep their field mapping, so reconnecting the same HubSpot account picks up where you left off, including leads that waited while you were disconnected.
No. The integration is one way, from QRBold to HubSpot. Editing or deleting a contact in HubSpot does not change the lead in QRBold, and deleting a lead in QRBold does not delete the HubSpot contact.
HubSpot access tokens are encrypted at rest, kept on our servers only and never shown in the browser or written to logs. Each QRBold account can only use its own HubSpot connection, and connecting requires a one-time, signed sign-in link that expires after 10 minutes.

Create a free QRBold account, add a form to a card or page, and connect HubSpot when you're on a plan that includes it.
